We wanted to have an early start to beat the crowd on a Sunday at La Cremerie. Great idea but I couldn't drive up the icy road!Still early enough to jump directly on the steep pitches.
Gullian seems to have improved 200%. From having scratched one easy mixed gully in Scotland and walked up a 4000m peak, she is now tackling steep frozen waterfalls.
She told me there is simply too much for her to learn in just a few days. So I asked her what tips would she hang onto after this course... She said very spontaniously: "Three things":
"1. Never look up when someone shouts rope, get your head down.
2. Make sure you don't clip the end of your cow's tail around yourself when abseiling, very painful.
3. Do not leave gear behind at the belay... "
